Cancellations / Deposits

48 Hour Cancellation Policy

We understand that due to your busy schedule you may have to cancel or change an appointment with us.

In order to respect the time of both other booked clients and The Place Hair and Beauty, we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or rescheduling at least 48 hours prior to the appointment.

If an appointment is re-scheduled 2 individual times within the 48 hour window you will be placed on a walk in basis only.


This is so that we may have ample time to fill the appointment should you need to cancel your service. Appointments that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior will result in the loss of your deposit.


Here at The Place Hair and Beauty we value our customers – to ensure we can meet demand and avoid missed appointments, please be advised that we require a deposit on ALL new bookings. Prior to each appointment, careful time and preparation is often needed by our team, in order to deliver the best possible service. We take your appointment as a verbal contract and it is reserved especially for you.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services, for this reason, we respectfully advise you that deposits are strictly non refundable.

We do require deposits for ALL appointments booked. This will be taken at the time of booking and will be 50% of the total services.

The Salon operates a strict 48hr cancellation policy - this means that if you cancel or reschedule your appointment PRIOR to this time frame the deposit is fully transferable / refundable. If you fail to give us the minimum 48hrs notice we will take the deposit as a loss for the stylists time & a NEW deposit will be required to reschedule.

No Show or Lateness
In order to respect the time of our Stylists, if an appointment is no showed you will lose the deposit or be subject to a £30 charge and serviced on a last minute only basis. Please be advised if you NO Show on a Re-Do Reservation we will not be able to schedule a new reservation free of charge.
 
Please be courteous to your Artist and other clients. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your appointment and you will also lose the deposit as you would with no show appointments.

Children
Prices will be specified for children under the age of 15. Children over the age of 15 are charged for full price services.

 

The Place Hair and Beauty is a family-friendly brand, however, all children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If a Child under the age of 18 is receiving a service, a consent form must be signed prior to the service is performed. Colour cannot legally be applied to clients under the age of 16.

Reservations
You may request a reservation online via our booking portal, by messaging on social media, email OR calling our store on 01204 859299 - please choose one platform when communicating.

Appointments are also not confirmed until a deposit is paid and this slot remains available for another client to take until secured with a deposit.

Online Scheduling
Your request is not approved until you receive confirmation from The Place Hair and Beauty.


Head Lice
It is against The Place Hair and Beauty policy to perform services on clients with head lice. If a client has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day. We would be able to complete the service within 48 hours once the head lice treatment has been completed.
