Our Policies

Our Service Guarantee

We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at The Place Hair and Beauty. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed. 

As is customary in many salons, services and deposits are non-refundable but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge (excluding colour correction and colour change services; see colour correction and colour change policy). If the appointment time for a deposit paid no longer suits, this will naturally be rescheduled for a mutually agreeable time.

The service must be a mistake from the service provider... not that you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed).  In case of a disagreement,  You have 48 hours to contact the The Place Hair and Beauty to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction.  Corrective services will not be allowed 5 days past initial service date.

It is important you contact us as soon as you are unhappy so we can schedule you As Soon As Possible for a corrective service. 

Please keep in mind, using box colour or going from darker to lighter tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result. 

Right to Refuse Service
The Place Hair and Beauty reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behaviour and anyone who has not shown to 2 previous appointments without noticing. 

Prices will be specified for children under the age of 15. Children over the age of 15 are charged for full price services.


The Place Hair and Beauty is a family-friendly brand, however, all children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If a Child under the age of 18 is receiving a service, a consent form must be signed prior to the service is performed. Colour cannot legally be applied to clients under the age of 16.

You may request a reservation online via our booking portal, by messaging on social media, email OR calling our store on 01204 859299 - please choose one platform when communicating.

Appointments are also not confirmed until a deposit is paid and this slot remains available for another client to take until secured with a deposit.

Online Scheduling
Your request is not approved until you receive confirmation from The Place Hair and Beauty.

Head Lice
It is against The Place Hair and Beauty policy to perform services on clients with head lice. If a client has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day. We would be able to complete the service within 48 hours once the head lice treatment has been completed.

Information collected from this site is only used if we need to contact you for further information regarding your appointment.
